MFT-206 Multi-component Force Analyzer combined with a 6-component wheel force transducer (SLW-A) splits external force into 3-direction orthogonal force and the moment surrounding that force in order to measure external force applied by automobile tires on road surfaces during travel. It compensates for mutual interface between each component and compensates for rotation using a rotation signal from rotary encoder mounted in the force transducer. The equipment also outputs all six components as voltage signals and it counts the number of encoder pulses to output tire rotation speed. Setting are easily accomplished simply by inserting memory cards into the unit since parameters like mutual interface are all stored on memory card.
