Strain Gage Clamp-Gage Mate

When bonding a strain gage, a fixing pressure should be applied to the gage until curing of adhesive is completed. This can be easily done using the TML Gage Mate, which is a gage clamp device consisting of a coil spring and a permanent magnet. Model A is for flat specimens, and model R is for round specimens. Both can be used with room-temperature curing type adhesives.
